The Blue House

Built in 1828

As North Hatley's first timber frame home, The Blue House has a rich history in the Eastern Townships being built by some of the area's first settlers. The house and cottage are perfectly situated, looking across Dreamland Park to the lake, mountains and village. The beach is just a few steps across rue Magog and offers easy swimming, a fixed and floating dock, along with beautiful views of the lake and western shoreline hills and mountains.

Lac Massawippi

An Abenaki word for "the big deep lake."

Lake Massiwippi is a beautiful, deep-water lake that extends nearly nine miles from the village of North Hatley on its northern end to the town of Ayers Cliff on the south. Swimming, boating, and fishing are popular activities.
